I make cheesecakes for family get-togethers and having a lid for my pan makes it so much easier. My one caution is...don't pick the pan up by the lid handle when the pan is full. That just won't work.

The springform pan itself is great, no leakage, tight seal, nonstick. However, the lid does not seal airtight, it rests on the pin of the springform lock hinge. If you carry the lid by the handle, it puckers. Also, the lid is made of a more brittle plastic and it cracked the first time I used it for Thanksgiving. I would not recommend this pan if you are looking for a springform pan with a functional lid.

I have an old springform for my cheesecake and it has been rusting. Needed a new 10". This is perfect, expecially with the lid since cheesecake needs to be cold. The side fits very well, no leaks, with the bottom. Sticking is minimal. I love it. Wish I'd gotten it sooner!
