Its cast aluminum construction has a superior 2 layer non-stick surface for perfect release every time. For best results, brush a very thin layer of butter on the interior of the pan prior to each use. I have two of these and even so a regular bundt cake recipe does not fit. I just dump any leftover in my mini spring form pan 4 Non-Stick Mini-Bakeware Springform Pans 4.75".It can be a little tricky to fill this pan. The easiest way I've found is to put a spoonful in, push into the stars first, then keep filling in the middle, push out, fill until the form is full. Unmolding is easy if you use flour non stick spray combo like Baker's joy.the cakes come out evenly baked and look really special. The pans are heavy and well constructed.

This is a super pan.However, keep in mind its about a THREE CUP pan. Most bunt pans are 6 or more cup, so a regular batter recipe won't fit in the pan. That's easy to solve because you can make cupcakes with the extra batter.The non stick coating is really good! Cakes come out easily EVERY time you use itShape is fun! The star shape is really detailed & the cake is impressivePan is lightweight! The cake baked evenly.This is certainly a great pan to keep in the kitchen if you like baking.
