My husband and I made this cake for our son's first birthday. It was not only a flashback for me (my mom made many of my cakes with Wilton character cake pans back in the 70's when they were made), but my son loved it. It was a great cake...ok, it didn't look as professionally done as the picture, but we had a great time making it because of the nostalgia. My son was thrilled!
